What to do in Como when it rains?

Another great alternative is to visit the city of Milan!
It can be reached by train from Como, in about an hour.
If you prefer to go by car, but want to avoid driving downtown, you can park in Lampugnano and then take the subway.
You could start from the Triennale in Piazza Cadorna, visit the Pinacoteca di Brera, take a walk to the Arco della Pace and the Sempione Park.
As in any big city, you will appreciate every corner!

The wine warms the heart and soul and when it rains it is appreciated even more.

FOX TOWN in Mendrisio, just over the border in Switzerland, direction Lugano on the motorway.
You would need a Swiss motorway pass or use the main roads towards Mendrisio.
This shopping center is great for designer bargains for the serious shoppers!
It is open from 11:00 to 19:00, 7 days per week!

ARMANI SHOP, in Vertemate, just outside Como.
Head out from Como on the motorway to Milan and exit in Fino Mornasco, turn right at the end of the exit road across the level crossing and then right at the lights (still heading towards Fino Mornasco).
The shop is in Via Provinciale per Bregnano,12.
Open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 19:00
IL CENTRO in Arese, one of the largest shopping centers in Europe with over 200 shops, 30 restaurants, a diagnostic center, a sports center and several play areas.
Direction Milano, Arese motorway exit, open every day from 9:00 to 22:00.
