There are many beaches in Tremezzina to enjoy the lake, the sun and summer.
Some of these places are accessible to all, without entry fees, for the others you have to pay.
A Colonno there is a quiet pebble beach, which can be reached on foot from the church square in the village centre.In Sala Comacina near the restaurant Lido di Sala Comacina and the boat stop there is a small beach, in sand, ideal for children.
Towards Ossuccio you find a romantic corner of peace, a pebble beach known as “Miralago”. This place is right in front of Comacina Island.
At Ossuccio, in the hamlet of Ospedaletto, there’s also Lido di Ossuccio (extensive meadow).
You can reach Isola Comacina by swimming.
Crossing the bridge over the river Perlana you can stop at the beach of the village of Campo, a small expanse of rocks at the mouth of the river.
In Lenno you will find two free beaches:
- a pebble beach located on the promontory of the Balbianello
- the pebble beach of the Giorgio Hotel.
To divide the two bathing spots there is a small bar, The Venus kiosk.
Mezzegra: first you find the Terrazza a Lago famous for the stunning panorama and reachable through a gate to the right of the path of the municipal park and, a little later after Villa Amila there’s another small beach at the mouth of the river.
Parco Teresio Olivelli in Tremezzo that, during the summer, hosts several events.
It is a very wide lawn, with a bar, with a lovely fountain in the centre.
Beach of “beau rivage” in Griante, a long stretch of pebble beach well visible from the road leading to Menaggio and much appreciated for its rather ventilated position and the presence of a bar, open only in summer.
