Once in Pusiano we look for parking in the square that we meet taking the very narrow Via Rosmini.
The itinerary to follow is simple even if at the beginning it seems to be a bit challenging and tiring.
Leaving the car park on foot, we take via Rosmini on the right again. Going up, you meet an underpass and also some houses.
Follow the signs for the Madonna della Neve and the cobbled mule track that goes up and through a series of chapels dedicated to the Sacred Mysteries of the Rosary, until you meet a large cross.
Santa Maria della Neve is in the silence of a forest and surrounded by a different and evocative atmosphere.
The small church (16th century), which is part of the Gir di Sant and the Cammino di Sant’Agostino, stands in a clearing where you can enjoy another splendid view of the lake.
In summer, on 3 and 4 August, in Pusiano, there is the Festa della Madonna della Neve.
In the evening the lake lights up thanks to beautiful and colorful fireworks.
Outside the small sanctuary there is a square also equipped for picnics.
After it, take the path that goes down to the right on the back (to the left, go up to Cornizzolo), to reach the beautiful Roccolo Park in Cesana Brianza and its splendid view of Lake Pusiano and part of Brianza.
This park was an ancient game hunt surrounded by ancient trees. The area is well maintained and well equipped with picnic areas and games for children.
